Family Time is an opportunity to maintain and develop your relationship with your child in a safe, positive and child-focused environment.

During your session, we ask that you:

• Keep the focus on your child and their needs.

• Speak positively and appropriately around your child.

• Engage with your child through conversation, play and activities appropriate to their age.

• Follow any guidance provided by the Civil Family Time team.

• Respect your child's feelings, wishes and personal boundaries.

• Avoid discussing court proceedings, social care matters or disagreements between adults in front of your child.

• Do not make promises about future arrangements that have not been agreed.

• Follow the expectations set out within your Family Time plan.

Our team is there to support you and your child. If a member of staff provides guidance during a session, this will be to help ensure the experience remains safe and positive for everyone.
