We understand that seeing your child can bring a mixture of emotions. Being prepared can help make Family Time a positive and enjoyable experience for both you and your child.

Before attending, please:

• Arrive at the agreed time and location.

• Let the Civil Family Time team know as soon as possible if you are going to be late or cannot attend.

• Bring any agreed items your child may need during the session.

• Check with the team before bringing food, drinks, gifts or other items.

• Think about activities your child enjoys and how you can make your time together meaningful.

• Try to put any disagreements or difficulties with other adults aside so that the session remains focused on your child.

Your Family Time plan may include specific arrangements or expectations. If you are unsure about anything before your session, please speak to a member of the team.
